Burmese cats are wonderful companions and make excellent pets. They are extremely people-oriented. They adapt well in large, noisy households becoming part of the family. They are highly social. They like to follow their people from room to room. They are interested in everything their owners do; they will assist you when you are reading or when you are doing your paperwork by sitting on top of what you are doing.
Burmese tend to attach to one person. Because of their socially personalities, they do not like to be left alone. Two cats should probably be kept in the house if people are going to be away for long periods of time. They crave the companionship of people and other animals.
Burmese are the ultimate cuddle cat and loves to be hold and carried around like a baby. They love to cuddle and curl up with people in bed and under the covers or on top of their favorite person.
Burmese cats are exceptionally sweet nature cats and very personable. They are very affectionate.
Burmese are very intelligent breed with an energetic, lively and alert nature. They are fun loving, playful and even tempered.
Burmese are known as "the dog of the cat world" since they enjoy fetching and retrieving almost doglike.
Probably the most outstanding attribute of Burmese cats is their affectionate nature. You can be guaranteed a loving welcome when you share your life with this "bricks wrapped in silk" (as they are known).
No matter what color or gender, a Burmese cat will make you fall under its spell and will steal your heart.
